October 18/13: Mitgo Inc. Announces Partnership with ICC Compliance Center

Mitgo Inc. is pleased to announce a new partnership with ICC Compliance Center (ICC). ICC provides solutions for regulatory compliance in the areas of transportation and workplace safety. It specializes in labeling, packaging, training, and consulting in the chemical, manufacturing, paint and coatings, automotive, government, healthcare, and consumer products markets.

ICC also offers a large assortment of compliance products for use within the transportation industry. These include such products as recordkeeping supplies, shipping documentation, as well as placards, labels, and safety signs. October 18/13: James Mitton of Mitgo Inc. Joins Toronto Transportation Club’s Board of Directors

Mitgo Inc. is pleased to announce that James Mitton, president and founder of Mitgo Inc., has been appointed to the position of Director on the Toronto Transportation Club’s Board of Directors.

The Toronto Transportation Club (TTC), founded in 1913, is one of Canada’s longest-standing social organizations representing professionals from the transportation and logistics industry. The TTC consists of members - both individuals and corporations - from every major industry sector, including:

Jun 14/13: Mitgo Inc. Expands Product Offering to Include Logistics & Transportation Legal Services

Mitgo Inc. is pleased to announce the expansion of its service offering to include Logistics & Transportation Legal Services. As a key partner to transportation firms throughout North America, we believe offering a full suite of consulting services provides the most value to our clients. Logistics & Transportation law can be difficult to understand since it is so specific that most traditional business managers and lawyers do not necessarily have the expertise it takes to serve the intricacies of this sector. One of Mitgo Inc.’s primary goals is to support and provide subject matter expertise to transportation firms and we believe that the addition of this new service offering will only further strengthen our relationships with our current and future customers.

This new product offering will be led by our new VP Legal, Brandon Boone, who has a broad background in Logistics & Transportation law and who has spent many years practicing with one of the Niagara Region’s oldest and most respected law firms.

May 1/13: Brandon Boone Appointed as VP Legal Affairs

Mitgo Inc. is pleased to announce that Brandon Boone has been selected for the position of Vice President of Legal Affairs. Boone has a Bachelor of Arts from York University's Glendon College and a Bachelor of Laws (now Juris Doctor) from York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School.

Boone is a long-standing partner of Daniel & Partners LLP, one of Niagara’s oldest and most respected law firms, serving personal, corporate, and municipal clients throughout Ontario. Boone has a broad legal background in the areas of Real Estate Law, Business Law, and Wills and Estates Law and is counsel to a number of businesses and not-for-profit and charitable organizations. He is based out of the Niagara Region, where he has served as a board member and president of the Niagara Falls Big Brothers Big Sisters Association, a board member and vice-president of the Niagara Falls Humane Society and a board member and secretary of the St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation, among other volunteer positions.

Boone has also been a lecturer for legal courses offered at Niagara College and regularly writes articles and gives lectures on subjects within his areas of expertise.




March 29/13: Mitgo Inc. Joins the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters

Mitgo Inc. is proud to announce that it has joined the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME), Canada's largest industry and trade association for manufacturers and exporters. Founded in 1871, CMEs mandate is to promote the competitiveness of Canadian manufacturers and exporters. CME members represent approximately 82 per cent of Canada’s manufacturing sector and 90 per cent of its exporters. CMEs members total over 100,000 companies, 85 per cent of which are small and mid-sized enterprises.

Mitgo Inc.’s membership will enable it to work closely with many different companies to provide transportation expertise to help these businesses compete on a global scale.

March 22/13: Mitgo Inc. Joins Burlington Chamber of Commerce

Mitgo Inc. is pleased to announce that it has joined the Burlington Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is Burlington’s foremost business association representing more than 1,000 businesses in the city of Burlington and the surrounding areas.

The Chamber’s mandate is to make Burlington a better place to do business in and a better place to live. This is evidenced through its work drafting policy and working closely with elected officials, promoting and supporting local businesses, and running events to benefit its members.
